While this year has already brought us amazing tales, such as Olympus Has Fallen, Snitch, and Broken City, 2013 is still fresh and has many more stories to tell.

The following are the 5 most anticipated films of 2013:

1. Jurassic Park 3D
The infamous Jurassic Park, known to millions for 20 years, is now finally being released this year in 3D as a 20-year anniversary film. Though not a remake or sequel to the Jurassic Park saga, Jurassic Park 3D will emphasize the deadly nature of Jurassic Park and leave the entire audience with as much anticipating horror as the characters themselves are found in, with every Earth-shattering footstep meaning potential doom around every corner. Why watch Jurassic Park when you can be in Jurassic Park. See the 1993 tale unfold before your eyes on Friday, April 5, 2013.

2. Riddick
For anyone who has seen Pitch Black (2000) or The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), this next film in the Riddick series will come as a God-send to movie watchers who just can’t get enough of Vin Diesel as he fights wave after wave of alien encounters while fending off human attackers simultaneously. This episode of Riddick leaves him (Vin Diesel) left on a virtually dead planet full of alien predators. To escape, Riddick must alert local mercenaries (who happen to be chasing him) of his presence, in the hopes of stealing their ship for a safe ride home. Will his escape be that simple? Find out for yourself on Friday, September 6, 2013.

3. The Wolverine
The Wolverine is the latest X-Men story that takes its place in the X-Men Universe after all of the other films. In this plotline, all of the other X-Men characters have been killed or disbanded, leaving Wolverine all to himself to fend off an old adversary. Similar to the X-Men Origins: Wolverine story, The Wolverine is a tale of bravery, fearlessness, and cold adamantium steel. See the action in 3D on Friday, July 26, 2013.

4. 300: Rise of An Empire
Set as an alternative storyline to the original 300 film, Rise of An Empire focuses on the naval battle of Artemisium, a critical fight that led up to the scenario that took place at Thermopylae 10 years later. A life-altering battle that changed the events of history forever, the Battle of Artemisium may have been one of the most defining moments in the search for democracy throughout all of the world’s history. Watch the battle unfold on Friday, August 2, 2013.

5. Iron Man 3
Possibly the single most anticipated movie of 2013, Iron Man 3 follows Tony Stark as a malevolent enemy turns his world upside down. Left only with his personal devices and ingenuity, Tony Stark must outwit his latest opponent in order to save those closest to him. Does he have what it takes to turn the tides in his favor once again? With an all-new suit created from the latest technologies in 3D printing, Robert Downey Jr. is set to astonish the world yet again as he dawns the role of Iron Man on Friday, May 3, 2013.
