The only mother she and her twin brother Sam had even known was Anabel, her beloved grandmother.

After her nana’s unexpected and sudden death, Adrianna begins to experience the unexplainable and is given an intense lesson as to why the mirror in her grandmother’s alcove was cover in black velvet. A curse plaques the Bristol family; a curse that gives them long life, wealth, and an immortal lover who cannot release them.

Determined to break the curse, Adrianna sets out to learn the truth, the horrible truth behind what happened to her family nearly four hundred years ago and why her family is bonded to a specter only a handful of people have ever seen. Between despair and bliss lies the truth, and only Adrianna has the power to save them all.
