48 Hours To Stop Murdoch's UK Media Takeover

by

Jeremy Hunt says he'll let Rupert Murdoch own all of BSkyB, despite the hacking outrages. We have 48 hours to flood the public consultation with requests to stop the deal, and call on the government to initiate a public inquiry into the hacking scandals. Let's save our media and democracy. Send a message now.

Say No To Tar Sands in Europe!

by

Right now, EU law makers are introducing an important bill which would impose strict pollution standards on car and lorry fuels and would effectively ban tar sands fuel, the world's most filthy and environmentally destructive transport oil. But shockingly, the UK is opposing it.

The One About The Whiskas Ads (Videos)

by

Apparently, our friends at Whiskas think cats really know how to live... So theye're taking a fun peek at what it would be like if people lived like cats. And, let's face it, if we did live like cats, that might actually make us happier people.

Have fun watching those vids and let us know which one you liked the most, okay?

The One About The Red Bull Ads You Won't See On TV (Videos)

by
The crew over at Red Bull have given us some weird and wonderful TV commercials over the years. Remember the one where a man flies up and let's a bird have it from above?

Well, not surprisingly some of those ads have drawn a lot of complaints and had to be pulled down...
But, don't worry. All is not lost.

For a very limited time we got the opportunity to snatch these off, which people have referred to as: 'disgusting', 'repulsive', 'should be banned' ads...And you can watch them here at LoupDargent.info.

Enjoy! (And pass the word around)

Victor explains the 5th of May Referendum...

(RSS Feed Readers: If the video player doesn't appear on the page shown by your RSS Feed Reader Facility, please click on this link...)

Depending on the voting results on the 5th of May, we could find ourselves with a whole brand new way (for the Uk anyway) of electing our MPs (Members of Parliament).

Confused? Don't worry, Victor has come to the rescue and is explaining it all to us in today's video-clip.

And, of course, there are also a few related links just in case his explanations are not enough.

See you guys at the voting booths (well, those who live in the Uk anyway) on the 5th....

The One About UFO and Flying Saucer Encounters

by

The following post by Joy Healey, our Guest Writer for today, could be seen as a "back to basic" kind of UFO related article as it takes us to the late 40's (when the term "flying saucer" was first used) and the 50's...It might be a tad more traditional and conservative than the previous articles we've previously published on here, but it is about a very important period of the history of UFOs and I felt that because of that  (but not just because of that though) it definitely needed to be added to our UFOs and Aliens Related category.

It's like making a ufologic trip down memory lane... from the comfort of your computer chair (unless you're reading it on a laptop from somewhere else, of course, but you got the idea...), courtesy of LoupDargent.info.

Enjoy...

PS: Actually, let's make it two ufologic trips down memory lane as we've added a video-clip on a talk from Stanton T Friedman on the subject as well for good measure...

The Tagline

"Nothing to lose, nothing to compromise"

The Synopsis

Scarred by his traumatic past, former special agent Tae-shik lives a life of solitude. His only contact to the outside world is his neighbour So-mi, a young schoolgirl with a troubled mother.

The Storyline

An ex-special agent CHA Tae-shik's only connection to the rest of the world is a little girl, So-mi, who lives nearby. Her mother, Hyo-jeong smuggles drugs from a drug trafficking organization and entrusts Tae-shik with the product, without letting him know. The traffickers find out about her smuggling and kidnap both Hyo-jeong and So-mi. The gang promises to release them if Tae-shik makes a delivery for them, however it actually is a larger plot to eliminate a rival drug ring leader. When Hyo-jeon's disemboweled body is discovered, Tae-shik realizes that So-mi's life may also be in danger. Tae-shik becomes enraged at the prospect that So-mi may already be dead and prepares for a battle, putting his own life at risk...

The Warning

The movie was originally rated R for "strong bloody violence, pervasive language, drug content and brief nudity" and is definitely not for the faint heated...

The Geeks of Doom Review

"The movie is full of fast-paced and intense sequences that will keep your eyes glued to the TV, but it all plays out with some remarkable and often times beautiful cinematography. Director Jeong-beom Lee and his crew do an excellent job of offering creative shot after creative shot, helping to keep things fresh and moving forward with a certain determination, much like our antagonist, fittingly."

UFOs: Abduction Experiences - Signs and Symptoms

It looks like LoupDargent.info is going to be back into X-Files mode for a while thanks to Gregory Volz, our Guest Writer for today, and a series of articles of his that we're definitely going to enjoy posting here. In some of our previous posts (see "Faeries, Aliens & Otherworlds - Keys to Parallel Worlds and Multidimensions?" and "Are Aliens and Demons One And The Same?") , we've mentioned the similarities between the modern alien close encounters/abductions and the more ancient fairies or/and demons ones.... so, a post about abductions experiences seemed quite appropriate and timely.

If we were living in a perfect world, a follow up to our "South Africa: Let's Stop 'Corrective Rape' Once And For All!" post would not be needed... But, then again, if we were living in a perfect world, that previous post would not have been needed in the first place either.
