streets in response to the brutal murder of twelve people on Wednesday.

throughout France, and two Muslim places of worship have already been
attacked. This is just what the gunmen wanted: division and fear.
Smog is a problem that plagues cities across the world today. There are many contributing factors to smog including vehicular emissions, or high levels of smoke and sulfur dioxide caused by large amounts of burning coal. This dingy cloud that hangs over many cities can be the cause of many health concerns. Smog can trigger asthma attacks and cause respiratory irritation. On a few occasions smog has been deadly.
Parrots are amazing birds and make wonderful pets. They are also great entertainers with their singing and talking. Almost all parrot owners at some point will want to teach their parrot to talk. That is a given. Well, it’s not that hard anyway. Anyone can teach a parrot to talk using these simple methods.
With all the success and media attention surrounding the 3D films made by the likes of Pixar and Dreamworks it is easy to forget the hand drawn cartoons and films of yesteryear. If you ask anyone who grew up before the early 90s it is highly unlikely that you will find someone who hasn't heard of Donald Duck. The grumpy duck crafted by the Disney Animation company must be one of the best loved cartoon characters of all time.
A UFO is an Unidentified Flying Object. Based on that definition, anything you see in the sky that you do not recognize as something you’ve seen before (or at least something you know is natively found in our world) would be a UFO. A new type of airplane an unusual looking hot air balloon, and a large R/C aircraft could all be called UFO's.
Doesn’t sound like the UFO’s you have heard of in the media and entertainment fields, does it? That’s because our society is obsessed with another common understanding of the term UFO, which is alien spaceships.
An obsession with aliens is something that dates back a century or more. Comic books in the early to mid 1900’s commonly were about alien invasions or abductions. Today’s movies still pay homage to this fantasy.
But why do we find UFO’s to be such an amazing fascination? Is it because we are fascinated by the possibility of aliens? And if so, then why is that so interesting?

There are many types of vehicles that existed long before the petroleum and diesel burning vehicles that we have today. One of these vehicles is the wood gas vehicle from the World War II era. It is not still in production today but science is considering all possibilities when it comes to creating fossil fuel alternatives. The wood gas car used several decades ago was at that time an alternative to those who had little other alternative.
When Henry Ford started producing automobiles, a car was, well, a car. And when Henry's cars had lived out their life and were hauled off to a wrecking yard for burial, they were still a car.
Of course, there were convertibles, sedans, sports cars, trucks and racing cars. But if one of these began its life as, say, a convertible, it was still a convertible when its life ended.
Fast-forward to the 1960's and the present day. Yes, we still have convertibles, sedans, sports cars, trucks and racing cars. But we also have cult cars, chick cars, guy cars, muscle cars, classic cars, and super cars. And while there was never any controversy over whether a convertible was a convertible or a sedan was a sedan, there is disagreement over whether a car is or isn't a cult car, chick car, guy car, muscle car, classic car, or super car.
Further, once a convertible always a convertible. But not so with a supercar. A car can be a supercar in one decade but not in the next. So what characteristics constitute a supercar?

It’s that time of year again, isn’t it? You’ve celebrated the winter holidays and New Year’s Day has come and gone. Now it’s officially 2015. You’ve probably set a few goals for the year and maybe even some resolutions.
Many people stop short of setting goals because they’re concerned that if they don’t meet them, they’ll experience a sense of failure. I’d like to propose a remedy – it’s a strategy I call “float the goal.” Here’s how it works:

Freddy’s world is awash in numbers, both real, imaginary, and very very long. Most kids get a snowcone and they’re mainly concerned with whether to go blue (completely natural flavors) or rainbow. Freddy is deep in thought as to the crystalline make up of the individual ice crystals in near reductive symmetry and the overall cone shape as a reference model to a visible universe expanding in both time and space. Years of calculating pi to the 32nd place and practicing the quadratic equation to various show tunes such as BINGO have made him a master of all things numeric and equally earned him a top spot in the Fantasy Geeks game on Facebook.
