Pictures Time: Doctor Who's Vintage Daleks

While re-visiting the sixties, thanks to the CO2eux Soiree episodes one (Broadcast From The 1960s and From Inside A Bottle), two (The Marina and The Diamonds' Music Video Episode) and three (The Mystery Jets Are Dreaming of Another World), we've made the most of our travelling back in time and managed to get our hands on more Doctor Who related pictures - all black and white pics, like the ones we got for our Tom Baker's Years Part One and Part Two posts. And, not only they are pictures of some of the earliest Time Lords, but they are also pictures of the fearsome and merciless Daleks themselves...

We've even have pictures of that extra Time Lord... The one that, apparently, was not even Gallifrean but just a human being like you and I (if you were born on this planet, that is) and didn't really fit into the Doctor Who continuity thingy.

31st January 1966: Peter Cushing (1913-1994) as Dr Who and Jill Curzon as his niece, Louise, with a dalek on the set of, 'Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150 AD' directed by Gordon Flemyng. (Photo by McCabe/Express/Getty Images)

But the Doctor from the movies still deserved some kind of recognition as, after all, he was played by none other than Peter Cushing from the Hammer Horror movies.

They came in different sizes too?!

No Daleks in the next one, but William Hartnell is in it as the First Doctor.

The following two pictures are not exactly from the sixties...
But,  they're still vintage as some Daleks are in them and,
the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) is there as well.

We hope you've enjoyed this little trip down the whovian memory lane as much as we did ourselves.
