As the country begins to head into 2012, the US elections are certainly heating up. Nevertheless, in the meantime there are still many tough political decisions to face. Given the recent news that the senate has rejected a plan to give workers across the country a payroll tax cut, it could certainly appear that 2012, and the subsequent elections, will be a miserable time for all where money is tight and spirits are low. However, that needn’t necessarily be the case – there are many ways you can inject a sense of fun into the elections. If you want to lighten the mood around your own house, try playing one of these great election games that get the whole family involved.

James Bond? He’s half a man without his Aston Martin. Sparkly Edward’s got his Volvo, Ghostbusters have their Cadillac and the only time Lindsay Lohan was even remotely cool was when she rode Herbie. Iconic cars have been boosting the badass-ness of their drivers for years, and sometimes they’ve outshined them completely. Either way, here’s a list of some of the coolest cars ever…

Aside from being one of the most vibrant cultural hotspots in the world, London is also host to one of the largest financial centres on the planet. The city is located in a relatively temperate climate. Winters are not severe, nor are the summers particularly unbearable. The climate is instead perfectly suited for fostering innovation.

With the latest James Bond film, Skyfall, heading for the big screen in 2012 it’s no wonder that critics, fans and financiers alike are eagerly waiting for this latest offering which sees Daniel Craig playing the role of the secret agent for the third time.
This is the 23rd Bond film and heralds the 50th anniversary of the first ever James Bond film, Dr No. Of course, as with any 007 adventure, there are several important questions that just have to be answered i.e.
- Who will direct it?
- Who will be the baddy?
- Who will be the Bond girl?
- Where will Bond go on his latest adventure tours?

The '80s is my personal favorite decade, probably because I was just old
enough to notice it but too young to enjoy it, so I miss it. Here are
my favorite action movies from the era, but in the interest of avoiding
overlap from other lists, I have eliminated all the children's movies (since Goonies and Labyrinth would otherwise belong here). I also eliminated Jackie Chan movies, so this is basically "Top 10 American '80s Action Movies Not Centered Around Children." Oh, and no James Bond movies either. And I left out the Star Wars movies too, since that trilogy began in the '70s.

With the holidays fast approaching you might be wondering what to give to that special 80s Music Lover in your life. While this list is not definitive, it is a collection of some of the best collections of music from a decade where music took a decidely different turn. In the aftermath of the Punk and Feminist revoltions of the 70s, in the face of the Cold War, and new music technology (keyboards, drum machines, sequencers, etc.) finally becoming accessible and affordable, music in the 80s became fragmented into many genres and subgenres, music styles and tastes that defined the decade. A decade of decadence? Debatable, but not likely, with cars, salaries, houses all becoming collasol in the mid and latter 90s.
In this list of collections you will find ones that are more obscure and less popular from companies that tend to focus on remixes, alternate versions or the just plain unusual alongside of major record label releases that will satify anyone who is intrigued, indebted or simply "stuck" in the 80s. To your right you will find a collection of links that will bring you to reviews and track listings of these compilations. Below, you will find a brief run-down of the musical collections and what to expect from the style of the compilation. I hope this guide helps you find the perfect present for the ones you love (or even yourself).

Many girls dream of having their own walk in closet, owning a pair of Jimmy Choos or having a selection of real Loius Vuitton bags that aren’t made in China. These three celebrities own these dreams, with their unbelievably massive shoe collections and the equally glamorous shoe closets they reside in. Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Paula Abdul are well known in their respective careers, but after taking a glimpse of their walk in shoe closets, they should be able to dethrone Madonna as the material girl....take a look.
