Over 200 Girls Are Missing In Nigeria – Let's Make Sure They'll Be Rescued! #BringBackOurGirls

The following is an email I've received earlier today from Change.org regarding a petition to the World Leaders and International Organisations to make sure that not only everything will be done to find the girls who've been abducted in Nigeria a few weeks ago, but also that no child will risk being abducted/attacked for simply seeking an education ever again... 

I've signed the petition and I am now sharing that email with you so that you can, if you want to, do the same.

Women and children pulled from schools and hospitals and killed by the roadside, hate propaganda filling the airwaves - Rwanda 20 years ago? This is happening right now in South Sudan, and we have the power to help stop it.

Two men are to blame: President Salva Kiir and his former deputy Riek Machar. Locked in a bitter power struggle, both are cynically stoking tensions between ethnic groups that have lived peacefully together for decades. Both men have assets and family abroad. If we hit Kiir and Machar where it hurts -- their wallets -- we can stop this nightmare from spiraling into genocide.

When it comes to Joshua Bonehill's claims on the net, it's generally rather difficult to believe that they have actually any truth in them... I mean, he is not exactly known for his truthfulness, is he?

So, when I saw his recent post announcing that he was starting a 40 days and 40 nights hunger strike today, I couldn't but be slightly sceptical about the whole affair...

LONDON (AFP) ― Concerned that London’s seasoned street musicians are being silenced by excessive regulation, mayor Boris Johnson is leading calls for the buskers’ voices, and guitars, to be heard again.

Camden Town in north London, with its punks and a main street bristling with “alternative” shops, has long been a favored destination for young visitors. But several months ago, buskers were ordered to silence their instruments by 9 p.m.

That's probably one of the few times in my blogging life that I am actually very happy to update/correct one of my main blog's posts. 

I've also slightly updated the title and, hopefully, it will convert the fact that Kate didn't knowingly lend her voice to the beliefs promoted in the documentary...
